Laguna

The city of Laguna has many attractions. Besides the Carnival, the beaches and the night shrimp fishing, the visitor can also enjoy walking in the Historic Center, with more than 600 houses preserved from the colonial era and part of the Historic Patrimony of the city.

Farol de Santa Marta

Some of the highlights are the old house where Ana Maria de Jesus Ribeiro (Anita Garibaldi) married the first time, today transformed into the Museu Casa de Anita, and the Museu Anita Garibaldi, old City Counsel and City Jail, where the República Juliana was declared by Giuseppe Garibaldi (movement to separate de south from the rest of the Country) and the Farol de Santa Marta, 13 km from the city, one of the highest structures in the world, build with mortar made from whale oil.

Beaches / Praias / Playas

The you will also find the Marco de Tordesilhas (divided South America between Spain and Portugal). To the south are the beaches for families, such as Praia do Rincão, Arroio do Silva and Morro dos Conventos.
